Tracy Locke is a Licensed Master Social Worker with Angel Hands Hospice. With almost ten years of social work experience, Tracy’s clinical background includes end-of-life care, gerontology, individuals experiencing homelessness, individuals afflicted with personality disorders, and placement in a skilled nursing facility including nursing home Medicaid requirements and application processes. In addition, Tracy is knowledgeable in assisting individuals with dementia while helping their families navigate the unique characteristics of the disease process as well as providing crisis intervention to ensure a safe transition to the next level of care.

Tracy believes that a holistic approach is vital in effectively serving our patients and their loved ones. She views hospice social work through a strength-based lens and believes that all individuals have their own unique set of values, belief systems, and other protective factors that can assist them in their journey towards end-of-life, coping with anticipatory grief, and bereavement. Tracy understands that this time can be overwhelming, and is skilled at helping individuals working through feelings and processes regarding these natural and common reactions to this stage of life.

Tracy obtained her BSW from University of North Texas and her MSW from Texas Woman’s University/University of North Texas Joint MSW program. Tracy is currently working towards her LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and hopes to obtain additional skills in working with hospice patients and their families specifically through therapeutic approaches in coping and processing individual reactions to end-of-life issues. Social work is a passion of Tracy’s, and she is dedicated to those she serves.
